Next year we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Scouts Aleydis, Deurne (Antwerp). For that occasion, we decided to brew an exclusive beer and called it “7”. I’m in the parent committee and offered to help.
The brewery “Het Brouwateljee” provided the necessary information for the beer label. With that information, I started working on my first version. I made a front label and a back label. The bottle is going to have a dark brown color, so I figured that a white beer label in combination with green print would suit best.
After I received some feedback from other members of the parent committee, I started working on the next version. This time only one label to reduce print cost and labor as we had to stick the label on to the beer bottle manually. I got some inspiration from other beer labels and started working.
I started again from scratch and made the beer label a bit longer as well. The dimensions are now at 180×100 mm. I created some new graphical elements based on the styling of the font. The purpose was to have a beer label with all kinds of different areas and things you can discover.
I enjoyed working on this one. The feedback was great, and also the brewery gave a thumbs up. So I prepared the beer label for print.
And this is the result! 😉
